"the smoke of 'real life' contaminated my newborn bubble"
I don't know why, but that beautiful phrase stuck with me long after I read this! (And I never even had a pleasant newborn bubble, it was always smoky in there...so to speak...lol)
This made my day, thank you so much for the compliment! The newborn phase was wild, I didn’t realize how challenging it could be while she’s still so small — but nothing was worse than 4 months when she was part-human, part-blob, that in-between was brutal 😂
Thank you for having me 🥹❤️
You're so welcome, and thank you (again)! 💗
"if you’re not sure if you need help, then that usually means you do." This is the message we should be giving all new parents!
I had to learn to take my own advice! Ha — carrying this on forever for all of the new moms ❤️
When I read that line, I gasped. Like, duh?! Yes. We need to give this advice to new mothers! Agreed! 💯

I loved that line, too, Joy!
Great interview with a great woman. So happy to read you're feeling better, Violet, and I fully believe in your dream to write full time ❤️
The feeling is so mutual, and thank you so much (for all the things) ❤️
I love the love that exists between mothers, that starts here on Substack and pours into our real lives. Thanks for reading and sharing, Charlotte! ❤️
I second this! 🫶🏼
